MICHAEL V. ARROYAVE

Michael Arroyave is a Partner at Florida Trust & Estate Counsel, PLLC. He focuses his practice in the areas of Trust and Estate Litigation, Trust and Probate Administration, and Estate Planning. He has litigated multi-million dollar cases and obtained favorable results for his clients, including multimillion dollar settlements. Michael has also drafted Appellate Briefs that have resulted in the reversal of the Trial Court and the establishment of legal precedent. He has counseled clients in the administration of Trusts and Estates composed of substantial assets, including real estate and closely held businesses. As an Estate Planner, he has assisted high-net-worth individuals implement strategies that reduced or eliminated potential transfer tax liability.

He received his B.S. in Management from Tulane University and his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law. Michael also received a Legal Masters Degree (LL.M.) from the University of Miami School of Law’s Heckerling Graduate Program in Estate Planning. He is a graduate of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

Previously, Michael served as a Trust Officer, where he administered complex Trusts and Estates.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Michael currently resides in Coconut Grove. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and donating his time and resources to various charities.
